The 2023/24 bowls season commenced in September with monthly games played between Old Melburnians, Old Scotch, Old Wesley, MCC and Caulfield Grammarians. Most of our games are played on the MCC Bowling Club greens in Hawthorn. All games are competitive but played in a very good spirit with the bowlers enjoying the traditional MCC Bowls Club lunch of sandwiches and scones. Unfortunately, our most recent game, scheduled for 17 January, was washed out. We look forward to the Annual APS Bowls Tournament to be played at the Glen Waverley Bowls Club on Sunday 24 March.
We are looking for new bowlers to join us next season.
Players can be of any standard, male or female, and can include: 1) past students; 2) the parents or grandparents of past or present students; and 3) past or present staff members. Our games are most enjoyable and are played on beautiful greens.
