CGS Malvern House – The Malvernian Magazine (1970-1977)

In 1970, a new magazine, The Malvernian, was launched at Malvern as a successor to The Malvern Grammarian yearbook.

The Master in Charge of Malvern, Mr Bill Sayers hoped the new magazine would in a simple and direct fashion show the main activities and interests as well class photographs, reports, staff notes, and creative writing. Proving an ‘authentic and lasting record of people and events at Malvern and provide material for reminiscence for past students, later in their lives’.

Editions of the magazine were published from 1970-1977, usually 35 pages with a cream cardboard cover and black & white photographs.

Can you help to locate a 1971 edition of magazine?

We’re missing the 1971 Malvernian. Seeking a loan copy or donation, to ensure that the full set are digitized and scanned for preservation and access. See contact details below.
