IF YOU LIVE IN MELBOURNE
We’d love you to have a meal or coffee in one of our cafes. Across your lifetime you’ll have 80,000 meals — so why not share some with us — and in doing so help provide training and support for a young person. That’s conscious consumption.
You could use our catering, for a lunch or event at your workplace or hold your Christmas Party or Birthday party or Wedding at STREAT! Or order our Christmas Puddings, Hampers or Cookbook — they make the ideal corporate and personal gifts.
There are so many ways you can help — they are all detailed in this Goods of STREAT brochure.
IF YOU DON’T LIVE IN MELBOURNE
There are still loads of ways you can help:
- You could also order our Christmas Puddings, Easter Buns, Hampers or Cookbook as gifts.
- Buy our award-winning coffee beans for home or work from our shop.
- Share a meal with family and friends and donate what you would have spent on a meal out.
Your $5 fast food meal could pay the train or tram fare for one of our trainees to get to work.
Your $10 takeaway could allow a trainee to go on an excursion with their class.
Your $50 meal could pay the fees for a young person’s Certificate II in Kitchen Operations course.
Your $250 meal could cover the major expenses of a trainee doing our Main Course program.
It costs STREAT $5500 to put a young person through our 17-week life-skills, work experience and hospitality training program. Over 80% graduate and go on to their first job or further education.
