The Caulfield Grammarians Cross Country Club are looking forward to competing again in 2024 season and would welcome any new runners who are looking for some competitive racing or a reason to stay fit and enjoy a very friendly social environment with which to do it.
Caulfield races against all the other APS schools in the APSOC Association, which has a rich 85-year history. There are 10 races over the course of the season from April to September with the races held over various locations in the Melbourne metro area, some are hilly others flat, some are dry paths and others are muddy trails. Distances vary from a lap of The Tan to 10km events. The first race of the season is on the 6th April and is a 5km event held within the Scotch College campus.
All standards are accommodated with each race recognising the fastest runners but also handicap results giving everyone the chance of collecting a prize. Our Men and Women’s number 1 teams are in Division A.
Again Caulfield will host an event which will be held at the Wheelers Hill campus. We have designed an 8km course, which will start and finish on the main oval and take in the challenges of Jells Park.
We have a great group representing Caulfield and we welcome any new runners and their family and friends.
Come and join us running in “The Hoops”.
