As part of the ‘Principal’s Event Series’, aimed at fostering engagement and raising awareness of important issues I am excited to remind you of our International Women’s Day event with special Guest Christine Nixon.
This is a free event and is open to all members of our community, students, staff, parents and alumni.
International Women’s Day: an evening with Christine Nixon AO.
- Event Date: 7pm, Thursday 7 March
- Venue: Hosted at Caulfield Campus, Cripps Centre
Our first event of the series welcomes esteemed guest Christine Nixon AO to celebrate International Women’s Day.
As the 19th Chief Commissioner of Victoria Police, she has direct experience of running a highly complex organisation through change, disruption and, at times, extreme circumstances. Christine Nixon was the first woman to become a police commissioner in Australia, leading 14,000 staff and oversaw an annual budget of $1.7 billion.
Christine Nixon AO rose to the top in the male-dominated field of policing and can enthral an audience with her visible compassion, warmth, intelligence, and determination.
You can secure your tickets here.
I look forward to seeing you at this event and welcoming Christine to our community for the evening.
