Our Reverse Mentoring Program, inspired by articles from the Harvard Business Review and the Association of the Heads of Independent Schools Australia , aims to innovate the mentoring space. By flipping the traditional mentoring relationship, we hope to give young alumni the opportunity to share issues and perspectives affecting youth of today.
Young Alumni Ambassadors will mentor CGS Stakeholders on themes around: Embracing authenticity, adaptability & innovation, personal brand & digital networking, using new technology, resilience & risk taking. The emphasis will be on our more established Grammarians learning from young alumni and building mutually beneficial relationships by sharing different perspectives.
Our Reverse Mentoring Program facilitated by Career Expert Leah Lambart, is designed to foster meaningful connections and mutual learnings through independent meetings.
The program culminates in a podcast featuring a dynamic conversation between the pairs as they explore highlights and learnings of the program.
Below is a sample program structure, which is subject to change:
> Introduction Session & Participant Kit
> Mentor-Mentee Meetings
> Podcast Recording Between Each Pair
> Podcast Launch
